English National Ballet announce 2021/2022 season

English National Ballet have 'with joy and optimism' announced a programme of new and existing work for the remainder of 2021 and into 2022.

In addition to their already announced 'Reunion' show at Sadler's Wells 17-30 May 2021, they have confirmed the dates for the world premieres of Akram Khan's (even) long(er) awaited new show Creature at Sadler's Wells in September and the delayed new production of Raymonda - the first full-length work to be choreographed by Tamara Rojo - at the London Coliseum in January 2022.

The company will also be resuming their Christmas tradition of Wayne Eagling's The Nutcracker at the Coliseum in December.

Finally, the company have announced 'The Forsythe Evening'. This triple bill of works by revered choreographer William Forsythe comprises of the UK premiere of Blake Works I, featuring the music of James Blake, alongside Approximate Sonata 2016 and Playlist (EP), an extended version of audience favourite Playlist (Track 1, 2). This show is scheduled for Sadler's Wells from 31 March - 10 April 2022.

They have not announced any performances outside London at this stage.
